Churches across Maryland and Delaware are gearing up for Vacation Bible School (VBS) this summer. That’s why we gathered our convention’s resident VBS experts. In today’s podcast, they’ll preview this year’s theme, Saddle Ridge Ranch: Round up Questions, Driving Home Answers. We’ll also discuss the annual VBS Expo sponsored by the BCM/D and upcoming opportunities for regional VBS training available to churches in our dual-state convention.

Boys’ Camp: back again! Every year the BCM/D organizes the 2009 Boys’ Missions Camp, a great opportunity for elementary school boys to learn about missions in creative ways.

This year, our 42 campers experienced paint-balling, canoeing, woodworking, and more. Over 15 churches were represented, FIVE of which were non-baptist (which we’re really psyched about).

Ahhh Girl’s Camp! Every year, the BCM/D partners with WMU to offer Maryland/Delaware girls an opportunity to experience Bible study, worship, missions education, recreation and crafts in an outdoor setting.

This year the girls enjoyed time with missionaries, worship, singing, quiet times, crafts, games, swimming, hiking, hayrides, skits, s’more-making meeting new friends, and much more!

Did we mention the 120 ft slip n’ slide? That’s right, we said 120 feet!
